("we", "us", "FrontEndART") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit quality-gate.com or get in touch with us through this website, and describes the cookies we use. It covers this marketing website only; the QualityGate cloud service at cloud.quality-gate.com has its own Terms of use.

What data we collect and why
Contact form submissions
When you fill in the contact form on this website, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, company name and message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry - for example, to answer a question about QualityGate or to discuss one of our services.
Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the consent checkbox when you submit the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and, where the enquiry leads to a business relationship, our legitimate interest and the steps necessary to enter into a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Website analytics and marketing measurement
When analytics is enabled on this site, we use Google Tag Manager to load analytics and marketing measurement tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and Hotjar) to understand how visitors use this website and which of our campaigns bring them here, and only if you accept cookies through the cookie banner - see "Cookies we use" below. At present no analytics or marketing tags are active on this site, so none of the cookies in the analytics and marketing rows below are set.

Embedded content
Some pages embed videos from YouTube, presentations from SlideShare and a document published on Google Docs. These embeds are loaded from the providers' servers when the page is displayed; YouTube is loaded in its privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set cookies until you play a video. The providers' own privacy policies apply to any data they process.

The rows above describe the measurement stack this site is prepared for; while no analytics or marketing tags are configured, only the strictly necessary cookie_consent cookie can appear, and it is set only once you answer the cookie banner. If analytics is enabled, we use Google's Consent Mode: our tag manager container loads on every page visit, but no analytics or marketing cookies are set and no data is sent to Google or Hotjar until you actively accept them in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the "Revoke cookie consent" link in the footer, which shows the banner again.
Who we share data with
- Contact form submissions are stored in our content management system, hosted within the EU.
- Analytics and marketing data (only if you consent) is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Hotjar Ltd. (Malta) as our data processors under their standard data processing terms. Some data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or equivalent safeguards.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, where a business relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required by law (for example, accounting or tax obligations). You can ask us to delete your data at any time - see "Your rights" below.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request erasure of your data;
- restrict or object to our processing of your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
